The Golf AutoScore™ solution consists of FOUR key elements which are : |
1. Golf AutoScore™ Scorecard Reader
The main element of every Golf Autoscore™ package is the scorecard reader. At the completion of the round the scorecard is fed into the scorecard reader and the score information is read “lotto” style in under a second. This reader technology is extremely robust and has processed over 2.5 million scorecards for golf clubs to date.

|
2. The Scorecards
The Golf AutoScore™ scorecard is extremely high quality and similar in appearance to many tour event scorecards. Whilst it is marked by the golfer with a pencil like any traditional scorecard the main difference is that in addition scores are also marked on a 'lotto' style panel for each of the 18 holes.

3. Colour Wax Laser Score Card Printer
The key purpose of this printer is to automatically batch print the players names, handicap and competition details on to the scorecards. In addition the printer can be used to “personalise” the reverse side of the scorecard with advertisements and other promotional information. An easily detachable perforated element to each scorecard is kept by the golfer when he submits his scorecard. This can be printed with a special offer coupon (e.g. FREE Coffee) which can be redeemed in the clubhouse.

4. Golf AutoScore™ Software
The Golf AutoScore™ Software is perfect for golf clubs, associations, societies and
golf travel companies who want to quickly benefit from GolfAutoScore™.
In summary this software allows you to setup a competition format, print the
scorecards and manage the results.
This software accepts scores entered
via the automatic scorecard reader and instantly processes them to produce
quickest possible competition results and statistics. Support is offered for all
popular competition formats including those with different handicap or age
ranges; and for multiple rounds, courses, and player categories. Individual
competitions may be run daily, but in addition any day of play may form a part
of a broader multi-round competition.
Club 'Open' events are a great
example of a multi-round competition, which can sometimes cover 2 or even 4
rounds and 1 or 2 days. The software also allows progressive results to be
produced after each round, and final results at the completion of the
competition. This can be done for any number of rounds and over any number of
days. Results can also be based on the 'best' number of rounds over a
competition.
For example, the club may have a progressive event, which
uses the best three monthly medal rounds returned over the year by each player.
The competition module will automatically aggregate the best three rounds for
the monthly medal competition and display the results in rank order.
Golf clubs who need the round information to feed into a handicap management solution
this software automatically exports of round information relating to event in a
standard Microsoft Exel spreadsheet. Alternatively for operators of
HandicapMaster (http://www.handicapmaster.org/products/golfautoscore.php)
you are in a very fortunate position as HandicapMaster have seamlessly
integrated Golf AutoScore™ reader compatibility into their solution range.
